The past two years have been very exciting for CACs in North Carolina. Thanks to some very hard work on the part of Center Directors, individual Center Board Members, and our Executive Director, we were able to secure support from state legislators for funding.

Suggestion: Use the General Assembly website as your homepage during session in order to keep up to date on pertinent information.

Thanks to all of the CAC advocates, Representatives, Senators, and the Department of Health and Human Services, accredited CACs will receive $12,500 in the 2007-2008 fiscal year.
